Assurant Solutions Consolidates Intermediary
Operations
Assurant Solutions has today announced that it will be combining its
intermediary-focused operations in support of its wider growth objectives.
Following consultation with staff, all business activities carried out
by Centrepoint Insurance Services in Lichfield will be integrated into
the business unit offices based in York and Cirencester. The UK intermediary
business will operate under the Assurant Solutions Intermediary brand.
A total of 32 staff have been affected by the announcement. All employees
not transferring their roles to the new offices are being given support
to find new employment in the region. The move will enhance the resources,
capabilities and focus at the York and Cirencester offices and further
underpin the delivery of a superior proposition to the broker and customer.
Ian Moffatt, Managing Director of Assurant Solutions UK & Ireland,

growth against a backdrop of challenging market conditions and is well-placed
for the future. The integration of the Centrepoint Insurance Services
business into our existing infrastructure makes good commercial logic.

The move will enhance our competence, capability and commitment to the

and customer.
