Assurant Solutions Assists Atlanta Area Organizations As Part of Conference Teambuilding Event

ATLANTA: More than 250 Assurant Solutions employees representing the specialty insurer’s businesses in 11 countries fanned out across the Atlanta metro area today to work on community projects as part of a teambuilding event.

Scheduled activities included …

• painting and landscaping Habitat for Humanity homes in Atlanta and Cobb County,
• mulching trails and landscaping at the Chattahoochee Nature Center,
• sorting and packing containers of medical supplies at MedShare International in Decatur,
• landscaping, painting and reading with children at Norcross Elementary School, with the Latin American Association,
• building a “baby boutique,” hanging shelving, cleaning and entertaining children during a block party at SafeHouse Outreach Center in Tucker,
• assembling personal hygiene kits and healthy baby kits, and cleaning at Community Advanced Practice Nurses offices on Ponce de Leon Avenue and Boulevard NE, and
• interior and exterior painting at Samaritan House’s Café 458 on Edgewood Avenue in Atlanta.
